The trail of slate and Andy Goldsworthy, a land artist, brought us to Tilberthwaite, not far from Coniston. Some years ago now, Goldsworthy did a number of sheep folds and other sculptures across the lakes. I love how he works with stone, with the stuff of the land, to make something striking. Yewdale Beck (a beck is a Cumbrian name for a stream) runs along side. Some of these pics are from our trip a few years ago, some are more recent, some are medium format, some are digital.
